Battle o Food Tomatina Festival 2011

Battle of Food Tomatina Festival 2011. In popular “Battle of food” in the east of Bunol Spain, August 31, were involved with the use of tons of overripe tomatoes. La Tomatina festival, held annually on the last Wednesday of August, is known for a long tradition. According to one version, he goes back to the 1940s. Then a group of young people taking part in the parade “gigantes y cabezudos” (giants and big heads), first used the tomatoes with vegetable stalls as a weapon. In 2011, take part in the battle were about 40 thousand people from around the world.

Wonderful snow globes

Snow globes were one of my favorite toys. They are one of the most common presents for a Christmas and New Year holidays. I have always been impressed with different creation of those little balls that can really be beautiful and amazing. We could say that this is some kind of art to produce such things. Snow globes usually contain something that can make you happier or that can entertain you. But those snow globes are different, we could rather call them horror snow globes. So what’s the story behind the scene in that globe? My guess is an officer is practicing his close range shooting skills on the back of some guy’s head while another copper watches and, quite possibly, gets aroused. Freaking classic, just like mom used to read me before bed.

The Hot Air Balloons

The hot air balloon is the oldest successful human-carrying flight technology. On November 21, 1783, in Paris, France, the first manned flight was made by Jean-Francois Pilatre de Rozier and Francois Laurent d’Arlandes in a hot air balloon created by the Montgolfier brothers.
Modern hot air ballons, with an onboard heat source, were pioneered by Ed Yost, beginning in the 1950s. His work resulted in his first successful flight, on October 22, 1960.

This Russian lady from Petrozavodsk, Russia, now living at Helsinki, Finland has made this stunning mini-snail house.
The true size of the interior details can be understood looking at her fingers on the photos.How I wish I had a house on my back, so I could be home whenever I am away! This delightful doll – house is by another Russian artist. The details are exceptional! There is tea waiting inside, clothes hanging in the closet, a delightful sun porch and even a tiny back door!!! Please come and stay awhile! Truly Wonderful!!!

Japanese Gangster Vans

We must say that these are both bizarre and cool. Japanese gangsters are very creative in modifying their cars. Take a look at some pictures. Do you think you can find this on the Japanese road?

It seems ludicrous that Japanese gangsters would use garish, easily identifiable vans because where did that idea of laying low from the feds go anyway? Making oneself obvious can be hazardous to a gangster’s health. Certainly bizarre and most assuredly cool, one can only wonder if these vans actually move. It would seem that one bad pothole and all would be lost.
